Darling River Expedition, Beyond Bourke + Gundabooka National Park + Trilby Station Farm Stay EP.58

Come & travel the Darling River from Bourke too beyond. We visit Gundabooka National Park, checking out the historic rock art and climbing Mt Gundabooka the terrain looks like a Serengeti Plains. The wild life on this leg of the journey was awesome, emu, kangaroo, echidna's and our new favourite the Apostle Bird.
We venture to Trilby Station a fantastic location and participant in the Outback Beds initiative. They have some amazing facilities for all types of adventurers, camping to accomodations and Liz even makes meals for some guests. Gary and Liz certainly have a well arranged station offering Yabbying, canoeing, fishing in the Darling and mud maps of their amazing farm. There is even a washing machine and fabulous toilet/ shower blocks, we liked the rustic one.
On arrival at the station Liz provides a Welcome to Trilby station booklet, definitely take the time and have a read. The experiences had by these folks is amazing and informative of the characters who are Trilby Station.
