Today, I get to sit with my lovely mom and go over typical 9 to five interview questions, Egyptian family interview style. Arab parents are very strict and funny when it comes to careers that are outside the box. I know my mom just loves me dearly and wants the best for me, but here are some typical egyptian mom responses to me saying that I want to pursue social media as a career in life. I grew up having a ton of parental pressure on my career choice. I studied Biology in hopes of pleasing them, then I switched to law, then I just decided to do me. I wanted to interview my arab mom to show her a glimpse of the type of questions and nonsense I had to go through working for someone else. Never going back to that lol. I hope no one follows how to answer interview questions with this video. P.S. NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS, even if they sound crazy to your family.
