L'envie d'aimer - Daniel Lévi
Daniel Lévi est un auteur-compositeur-interprète et pianiste français, né le 26 août 1961 à Constantine en Algérie Française. Daniel Lévi passe toute son enfance à Lyon, où il se prépare à son métier de musicien en étudiant le piano pendant une dizaine d'années au conservatoire de cette ville. En 1983, il compose et enregistre son premier album intitulé Cocktail. En 1991, il participe à la comédie musicale de Catherine Lara Sand et les romantiques, sur la scène du Châtelet en y incarnant les rôles de Musset et de Chopin. En 1993, il est engagé par les Studios Disney, pour interpréter en duo avec Karine Costa, la chanson du dessin animé Aladdin : Ce rêve bleu, mais c'est finalement Paolo Domingo qui a fait la voix et le chant du personnage dans le film, Daniel Lévi, lui, interprète le duo du générique de fin. En 1996, les studios AB lui ouvrent leurs portes pour l'enregistrement de son second album Entre parenthèses, qu'il compose et réalise entièrement. Puis en 2000, il sort de l'ombre en incarnant le rôle de Moïse dans la comédie musicale d'Élie Chouraqui et Pascal Obispo : Les Dix Commandements. Il porte au sommet de tous les charts la chanson phare L'envie d'aimer. Après le triomphe des Dix Commandements, Daniel Lévi a envie de revenir à ses premières amours, la composition. En octobre 2002 sort son troisième album : Ici et maintenant. En janvier 2005 son quatrième album, Le cœur ouvert, réalisé avec la collaboration de Pascal Obispo, voit le jour. Le 14 juillet 2011, il participe au concert de SOS Racisme sur le champ de Mars, à Paris.

Daniel Lévi

Daniel Lévi (born on August 26, 1961), is a French singer-songwriter, composer and pianist.

Daniel Lévi was born in Constantine, French Algeria. He spent his childhood in Lyon, where he was preparing for his job as a musician studying piano for a decade at the conservatory in the city. In 1983, he composed and recorded his first album entitled Cocktail. In 1991, he took part in the musical produced by Catherine Lara Sand et les Romantiques, on the stage of the Chatelet in which he portrayed Musset and Chopin. In 1993, he was hired by Disney Studios to record a duet with Karine Costa, the song of the animated feature Aladdin : "Ce Rêve bleu". In 1996, AB studios opened their doors to record his second album Entre parenthèses which was entirely composed by him. Then in 2000, he played the role of Moses in Elie Chouraqui and Pascal Obispo's musical Les Dix Commandements. He had huge success with the hit single "L'Envie d'aimer". After the triumph of the musical, Lévi decided to begin again to compose. In October 2002, he released his third album entitled Ici et Maintenant. In January 2005, his fourth album Le Cœur ouvert was produced in collaboration with Pascal Obispo.
