Tour of a Very Nice Class C

Today we take a tour of a very nice, older Class C RV owned by Kim, and see just what wonderful little tiny homes on wheels they can be! For a long time I've been a fan of them and promoted them as a great choice if you need all the comforts of a home.
All that room and comfort comes at a cost--expect problems from the RV. Be prepared for the possibility that it turns into a money-pit that eats you alive
Kim's story just reinforces my belief that if you are going to be in an RV, you need a much larger emergency fund because they are so fragile and there are so many things to break and go wrong. Logically, the older the RV, the more things will break. They will also need constant vigilance for leaks in all the openings and especially the entire roof. Plan on leaks in it no matter the age.

I always suggest that before shopping online for items you might need, be sure to have an emergency fund of at least $3000 first and foremost! Then check for the items you need at home or at a thrift store. Then, if you have the means and want to buy what you need online, I have all of my most useful & recommended products for nomadic living in my Amazon store.
