APIYO Clarifies Stand on Jama Masjid Dismantling Demand in ICR

APIYO held a press briefing today regarding its demand for the dismantling of the Jama Masjid in the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR). During the briefing, APIYO leaders responded to various allegations and addressed points raised in a recent press conference by the All Arunachal Pradesh Masjid Welfare Committee (AAPMWC).

The organization stated that its movement is not directed against any particular religion or community and emphasized that its demand is based on the legality of the structure. APIYO also clarified that a meeting on the issue was convened by the Chief Minister on May 27, but claimed that APIYO did not participate in the discussion.

Leaders further stated that if the matter is not resolved at the state level, they may take the issue to the central level for further action.
