Edge Manor Dining Room Beam Tear Out

Here is a video removing a 4"x10" rotted beam under our dining room. I had pretty much determined it was so rotted it was not supporting anything so I tore out this 8' section to replace with a new beam! We bought the house June 1995 and have waited 22+ years to address this problem beam and finally tore it out and replaced on Nov 18, 2017. This is just a small part of a much larger project to reinforce the entire foundation of our 1912 Queen Ann home in Garner, NC. You can see more pictures, etc at www.thebigdig.jasonedge.com
