2-Stroke Engine Only Runs on Choke (Will Not Run) Why?

I'm sure, at some stage, you have experienced that moment where you have started up your machine, initially, and when it feels time to remove the choke to run the machine, it just dies.

Well, in this video I explain why engines sometimes can do this. I will have to admit here though that the causes I have included in this video are not all the possible causes, because that would be too vast for this video even if I knew then all. Instead, what's included here is the type of causes I believe I have experienced myself.

So I have included how fuel filter blockage can reduce fuel flow through the carburetor, how the fuel tank cap breather system fails and reduces fuel flow, how fuel line blockage cap disrupt flow through and why a loose carburetor can cause bog down. Also, why failing inlet manifolds, carburetor adjustment screws, fuel pump diaphragms (caps and gaskets) and metering diaphragms (caps and gaskets) can all cause an engine to only run on choke.
