Our old salt cell gave out recently so we had to upgrade to a new one.
This is how a salt cell works: You put bags of salt in the pool, the salt cell ionizes the NaCl (salt) into Chlorine naturally and releases however much chlorine you decide to have in the pool. This is way cheaper than using chlorine tabs. Also, the slow controlled release of Chlorine is better for your skin and eyes as well. Overall, we were so glad to finally get our water chemicals levels right again and keep our poor clear and clean for this upcoming summer here in Florida.
