The 2018 Los Angeles Marathon Cleanup

Pretty similar to last year's cleanup. First you'll see the City of LA in downtown, Echo Park, Silver Lake, and Hollywood running 2 Caterpillar loaders, 3 dump trailers, 4 PB Loaders, and 12 sweepers. LA City took a lot of heat on last year's video for having an operation that seems rather inefficient at times, but you have to keep in mind they're responsible for the majority of the 26.2 mile course and need the capacity of the dump trailers and PB Loaders—they don't have nearly as much wiggle room as the other cities have for what they can use. From there you'll see Athens and CleanStreet in West Hollywood. Athens was running one front loader to grab large objects like boxes and whatnot and CleanStreet's fleet of sweepers handled the rest. Beverly Hills follows with all four of their rear loaders, two loaders and a fleet of sweepers. The City of LA makes another quick appearance in Century City before Santa Monica finishes things off with two of their Curbtenders collecting dozens of brand new 300s plopped down for the day and a few sweepers following.
