30th April 2020: This video shows Boeing's Second new airplane - the 777-9X (Reg# N779XX) first flight/ maiden voyage @ Paine field Airport, Everett, Washington (KPAE/ PAE), USA amidst this coronavirus COVID-19 situation. The second 777-9X later landed at Boeing field airport (BFI) in Seattle after staying airbornne for approx 5 hours, performing various tests.

The first 777-9X (N779XW) took to the skies earlier this year.

The main purpose of this test was:
1. test and verify airplane systems and flight controls.
2. Taxi test at various speeds
3. Raked wingtip folding up and down
4. Take-off & landings
5. Landing gear drop and drag tests at low altitude (landing scenarios)
