Buckle Up, It's Bette Davis

Fans and curious minds alike - have a trip down nostalgia lane with this compilation reel highlighting of Bette Davis's (1908-1989) performances. Despite having a difficult time getting good parts in the early Hollywood days, she never stood for mediocrity in her work. Later in life, she endured a double mastectomy, suffered four strokes which left her partially paralyzed, but kept working until her death at age 81. Her performances, from the vicious Mildred in "Of Human Bondage" to feisty Margo Channing as an aging Broadway star in "All About Eve" to the deranged former child star Baby Jane, continue to live on - as do her infamous one-liners.

Bette Davis was the first female to receive an AFI Lifetime Achievement Award. She was nominated for the Academy Award 11 times, winning twice (for Dangerous, and Of Human Bondage).

Here we celebrate the Queen of the Silver Screen!
