Smart robotics for agriculture | Jev Kuznetsov | TEDxVenlo
Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, automation, digitalization are not only for IT-companies, big consultancy firms, and fast marketing platforms.
In his talk, Jev Kuznetsov connects the digital world with the wonders of nature. Moving from the city to a more rural area, he noticed that on the fields,
chemicals play a big role in producing the total food demands of the industry. Therefore he decided to found his own ‘’agro-tech’’ company working on super cool new technologies with a small and agile team. Within a few months Jev is planning to have a first prototype of a
weeding robot on a field. In all it feels like a great journey; becoming an entrepreneur, networking, calculating, forecasting, working hand-in-hand with potential partners and pioneers alike. He believes the so-called tipping point has arrived for engineers,
programmers and technicians to acknowledge that agriculture is ready for a technological revolution. The upcoming field of Agricultural robotics is officially to be declared “awesome”! Jev Kuznetsov, MSc Applied Physics, studied at the Technical University Delft. As a creative and result-oriented innovator with more than 14 years of experience in a hightech R&D environment, he works at the intersection of science, engineering and business. He excels at early stages of technology development, identifying and answering the most critical questions. He delivers technology recommendations, invention
concepts and prototypes in his aim to invent and develop breakthrough products and technologies. The goal of the 40 years old Russian-born Dutch engineer is to use smart robotics to help farmers and our population to become 100% organic. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
