Took My Mum to a Mosque in Dubai | A Day I’ll Never Forget

This was such a special day ❤️

I took my mum to visit one of the most beautiful mosques in Dubai — the Sheikh Rashid Bin Mohammed Mosque. It’s only the second time in my life that we’ve been inside a mosque together. The first was over 30 years ago, on the day of my wedding. And now, all these years later, here we are again.

The team at the mosque were amazing. They gave her a proper tour, answered all her questions, and explained how Muslims pray and what we believe. I’m honestly so grateful for how patient and kind they were.

Afterwards, we went for a relaxed brunch at City Walk, one of our favourite spots, and later that day... reality hit. I finally went back to the gym after Eid! I wasn’t exactly excited to see my coach l; I knew I’d let myself go a bit. But sometimes you’ve just got to face the music!

From faith and family to food and fitness, this was one of those days that just stays with you.
