Yamaha V Star 1300 | Owners Review

As requested here is a review of my new to me 2014 Yamaha V Star 1300 cruiser motorcycle. This is an initial review as I have only owned the bike for a couple of months now. I will be doing a long term review in the future once I have done some more riding and camping trips on the bike.

Many of you might be wondering why I chose this over and adventure bike? Well it does everything an adventure bike does except the off road, which I have covered with my dual sport. Because of its lack of desirability, I was able to get a much better quality motorcycle compared to the over used and under loved adventure bikes in my price range. Plus I love taking the unexpected choice.

To summaries it is a great cruiser, although I know Japanese cruisers are not popular at the best of times. I love it for its quirkiness, reliability, power and comfort. Its not perfect though, with a snatchy first gear and brakes that could be stronger. All in all I am very pleased with the purchase 👍
