Root beer is made from a plant called sassafras. This plant grows commonly in the southeastern regions of the US. You’ve probably seen in in your backyard or somewhere in the woods.
It’s a fragrant plant that has a similar profile as cinnamon, anise, and clove. It’s EDIBLE and commonly used to make tea and root beer! And that’s what we’re going to try today (for the first time).
