Create an Online Leaderboard | GameMaker Tutorial

One of the easiest online multiplayer elements you can add to a game is a highscore table or leaderboard. Adding a way for players to upload their best scores to an online database and compare them against players around the world can add another layer of fun to your game. Using GameMaker’s official extension to connect to Google’s Cloud Firestore database, by the end of this 15 minute video you’ll have created a function online highscore table.
