**The game may be too dark by default** because I don't know what kind of black detail your display can produce, so start by adjusting LUT intensity or the in game brightness.

If REFramework is not installed, reshade will cause the game to crash on launch.

Download REFramework and place dinput8.dll into the game directory.

Extract the contents of MHWildsSDRLUT.zip into the game directory.

Install Reshade and either select the MHWildsSDRLUT_ReshadePreset.ini that you extracted into the game directory, or select the BX-Shade CubeLUT3D effect on install.

Select the preset from the top of the Reshade UI once in game if you did not select the preset on install, or set the cube 3d size to 65 and LUT file to "MHWildsSDRLUT.cube" in the CubeLUT3D effect.

Brightness in game should be set to default and adjusted to your liking from there, though I have not tested it with a range of settings. The brightness setting you are running now may not look good with the LUT.

Default CubeLUT3D settings in preset:
fLUT_AmountChroma=0.400000
fLUT_AmountLuma=0.900000
fLUT_Intensity=0.750000

Adjust all three values to get the best image on your display.
