Afurada traditional fishing village, Porto, Portugal
Afurada is a traditional fishing village at the mouth of the Rio Douro, on the southern side of Porto, Portugal. Drive over the Ponte da Arrabida and park so you can walk around the docks and watch the fishermen companionably mend and stack their nets. There is a profusion of large gulls in the area doing their own fishing. Background music is Rotten Gardenias by Huma Huma.
