The Misrepresentation of Ororo Munroe | Marginal Error Ep. 1: Storm

Storm is the most notable Black character in the X-Men -- a comic book inspired by Black Civil Rights leaders Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jr -- yet Ororo Munroe is continually misrepresented throughout the live adaptation films played by Halle Berry and Alexandra Shipp.

From her watered-down abilities to her minimized role as a leader of the X-Men, Ororo Munroe is easily one of the most disrespected characters in the X-Men film series. For our first episode of Marginal Error, we'll take a closer look at the Omega-level goddess and chat with Monique Bousquin about the many reasons why so many fans are still upset with the portrayal of Storm.
