Hiking Up the Famous Mist Trail!! Yosemite National Park

I wake up in a new campground called Tamarack Flat. Very beautiful place. Then I head out for the day to hike up to Vernal Falls via the Mist Trail. Once at the top, I decided to take a detour back down and take the John Muir Trail, which is a bit longer.

This is such a beautiful area. The John Muir Trail takes me above both Vernal and Nevada Falls and treats me to a breathtaking view. It was a very grueling hike and I was worried I might not make it back to the valley before it got dark but it turned out great.
