I was busy bearing witness to all the toads Flair and Rob caught this past week. While I miss Texas its good be back in ole Northern Illinois! Expect Part 3 very soon..like this week soon. Additional Info:
While the fish where feeding up shallow they were not quick to bite. Most of our bites where slow, lethargic pulls or tiny taps. Some fish where relating to the ends of laydowns, others where tucked super tight to brush or chunk rock. We found that the full size jig presentaion was too much for these cold water fish thus leading to our decision to switch to the Bait Buffet DP Finesse jig. Unlike other finesse jigs this one has a heavy duty hook that won’t bend out when bringing fish up an over brush piles.
