DIY: How to make pintucks on skirts and blouses. Sewing tutorial.

Today I’ll show you how to make the pintucks.
I’ll show you a skirt I’ve made on the basis of the 10-measurement system.
What is different about this skirt is that there’s a seam on the centerfront which turns into a small I’ve decided to show you how to make pintucks.
Everyone knows that the pin tucks exist, but it’s better to know how to make them.
If you want to hide a belly, you can make a blouse with the pintucks which go up from the waistline.
I’m going to make 3 pintucks now.
To make the pintucks you need to draw the lines with a ruler and then tack them. Every stitch should get in the line.
I just want to show you the technique. I really want you to make the items with the pintucks.
I’ll tack all the 3 lines this way. There’s nothing but the stitching on the right side.
I’ll show you how to do everything accurately in order not to fix anything later.
After tacking we’ll go to the ironing desk.
Of course you can make more pintucks if you want. It seems very hard, but actually it’s not.
If you decide to make a skirt, make it look good.
Then I’ll go to the sewing machine.
The stitching will be 7 mm wide. I stitch slowly, because I don’t want the fabric to stretch.
When I remove the tacking, I’ll go to the ironing desk.
