Facts about the Eurasian Collared Dove, a bird that can be found across much of Europe, Asia and North America. The video looks at the Eurasian Collared Dove's spread through Europe and North America, its size and weight, diet, appearance, nest construction and breeding cycle. The video includes audio of the Collared Dove's distinctive three note call.

The bird singing loudly at 1:47 is a Cetti's Warbler. Like the Eurasian Collared Dove, the Cetti's Warbler is another relatively recent arrival to the UK, first breeding here in 1972.
