Brushless Axial Flux Motor

This is a pancake motor under development having a theoretical maximum input power of 11kW. Here it is seen running at 12v, maximum 11A. It was designed for high torque at low RPM with very low weight. Design software used Altair Flux3D. It has external diameter 24 cm and thickness 6 cm. It has liquid cooling channels moulded into the stator (not connected in this video).
