Hacking Playstation-3 KES-400a Blu-Ray Optical Pickup Unit for imaging

I made this as supplementary material for a pitch competition (I lost), when I realized at the last moment that I had no videos specifically about the Blu-Ray side of the LadyBug scanner project. I took a tangent and switched to scanning macro photography (first with blu-ray parts, then a 3D printer and camera), but the project started in order to do real laser imaging with original assembly's voice coils, photodiodes, lasers, optics, everything. This is what I've gotten to so far with that. The results are a little more raw, but I hope you appreciate the prototyping process and imagine what would be possible if I actually knew what I was doing.
