How To Make Your Own E30 MHW Rep Late Model Taillights!!

The illusive MHW's for late model E30's. In this video, I show you step by step how to acquire the right products and build the lenses from old used housings! The result came out pretty good, and to the purists, not quite as indistinguishable to the real thing as you might think!

Just as a backup, it's a good idea to keep a set of spare stock lights just in case you don't like them, or want to swap for whatever reason. I purchased 2 brand new light housings from ECS for $128 each to have if I ever get tired of these reps!

Overall, this took me about $200 for the pair, and a full day to complete. The longest timeframe during the effort was to wait for the paints to dry! Now on to the contents: I broke out the video for you to easily jump to whatever section you want!
