This Indian Brand exposed Giants, then crashed 🧃

Raw Pressery started with a bold mission — to fight against false packaging and misleading marketing by FMCG giants like Dabur and ITC. Founded in 2014 by fitness enthusiast Anuj Rakyan, the brand promised 100% fresh, cold-pressed juices with no preservatives, no sugar, and no artificial flavors.

From distributing via Mumbai’s dabbawalas to reaching premium retail stores, malls, and airports, Raw Pressery quickly rose to a ₹500 crore valuation. But behind this success was a fragile business model dependent on cold supply chains, short shelf life, and high operational costs.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, everything collapsed — inventory wastage, rising losses, and reduced funding led to Raw Pressery being acquired by Wingreens Farms in 2021 for just ₹100 crore.

This is the rise and fall of one of India’s most talked-about clean-label brands.
