Why is the XHP160 a good Flashlight?

The American XHP70B, is a light I bought from BJ's WholeSale Club.

I purchased it in store, not online.

The American XHP70 utilizes over 12v of peak power, due to the 9xAA batteries. So the LED was running close to its maximum efficiency.
The XHP160 was using 8v, and has a very high kelvin. Close to 4000LM I believe.
