Turkey has developed a new cruise missile named "Bayraktar Kemankes". This mini intelligent cruise missile is developed by #Baykar and is designed to increase the ability to attack strategic targets with Bayraktar TB2. It was introduced for the first time at #TEKNOFEST, an event organized by the Turkish Technology Team Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology, at Istanbul Atatürk Airport. Technical Features:
The total weight of Bayraktar Kemankes is 35 kilograms and it has a 6-kilogram warhead. It is equipped with a jet engine that allows it to fly up to 250 kilometers and stay in the air for about an hour. The communication range of the missile is 50 kilometers at present and is expected to reach 100 kilometers in the future. It is also equipped with a gimbal system and artificial intelligence that allows it to process images and attack targets. Bayraktar Kemankes can serve in electronic warfare environments with its own anti-interference GNSS systems.

Advantages:
Bayraktar Kemankes has several advantages over laser-guided munitions. With the latter, one has to approach the target and see it, which puts the operator in a risky area. However, Bayraktar Kemankes can be operated from a much longer distance without entering the risk zone. The missile can also attack targets without seeing them by processing images with its gimbal system and artificial intelligence. It can transmit altitude, flight speed, temperature, and target information, as well as the entire camera image, to Bayraktar TB2's ground control station.

Capabilities:
Bayraktar TB2's capabilities will increase significantly with Bayraktar Kemankes. The missile can be integrated with Bayraktar TB2 as well as all other unmanned aerial vehicles developed by Baykar. Since there is communication, images can be taken from a very long distance. Bayraktar Kemankes can be directed by Bayraktar TB2 from a long distance, making it like another unmanned aerial vehicle. Bayraktar Kemankes can also be used against strategic targets behind enemy lines without even seeing them, making Bayraktar TB2 more usable.

Bayraktar Kemankes is a mini intelligent cruise missile developed by Baykar that has several advantages over laser-guided munitions.
