Shivani Poddar is the co-founder of High Street Essentials Pvt. Ltd. The company owns two brands - Faballey and Indya. She quit her investment banker job at Avendus Capital in 2012 to start Faballey with her co-founder and school friend, Tanvi Malik. They were operational online for the first 5 years and now have 32 offline stores in the country as well. So far, they have raised close to $18.7 Million in funding and are on their way to close the year at 200 Crore in revenue. With around 1,000 employees in the team, their corporate office is located in Noida.
