Labor and Liberal parties hurt by ‘political chaos’ from Iran war

Sky News host Andrew Bolt says the Iran war is causing “political chaos” in Australia, hurting both the Labor and Liberal parties.

“This war in Iran is causing political chaos here at home,” Mr Bolt said.

“It's hurting Labor, which today caved, and it's hurting the Liberals, which now has another new leadership contender.

“It [Labor] today caved to demands by Liberal Leader Angus Taylor last week to halve the petrol excise for three months to stop motorists getting belted by rising fuel prices.

“This is going to cost an absolute bomb, of course, when the Albanese government is now deep in debt.”
