George Martin, the 5th Beatle.

You can tell these two guys really like each other and this is a very friendly and great interview where George Martin discusses his record producing days with the Beatles.
My family knew George as my Mum went to the Guildhall School of Music with him and then my parents worked at Abbey Road Studios in the 1950's with George.
He was a great Producer and Arranger and the guys often referred to him as the "5th Beatle" a very calming and creative influence on them.
George later went on to set up AIR studios in Oxford Street and of course Montserrat then Lyndhurst Hall up in Hampstead.
They genuinely used to wear white lab coats in Abbey Road in the early days my Dad confirmed this to me and yes they did have recording lathes with weights that is a fact.
He was a great musician as well and played the Oboe.
