GRIZZLY 700 TEST REVIEW: 1st Generation 2007 with FI & EPS

In this video, we punish a 700 Grizzly to the breaking point. One of the best selling 4x4 utilities just got a fresh review at Everything ATV UTV Reviews. If you're in the market in 2016 for a Yamaha Grizzly, but don't want to shell out the cash, buying a used 2007 and 2008 Grizzly 700 will save a lot of money. Yamaha introduced the 2007 Grizzly 700 and it quickly powered over the 660 Grizzly. The newer 700 Grizzly was nothing but impressive compared to the 660 Grizzly. Sporting a bigger 686cc motor with 4 valves versus 5 valves and more progressive stance the 700 Grizzly won over most of the 660 Grizzly lovers. The 700 Grizzly became the first production ATV to be equipped with Electronic Power Steering (EPS), a huge leap in ATV technology. Fuel injection (FI) was added to compete with the 700 KingQuad and a better suspension allowed the Grizzly 700 to compete. The Ultramatic transmission is as smooth as ever at putting the power to the ground. The practically reinvented 4x4 was a crowd pleaser and should retain its grip in the used market for years to come. The Grizzly 700 is identical in the 2007 and 2008 year models and besides a few mechanical updates is practically indistinguishable other than color and sticker changes until 2014.
