Setup with Agentforce vs the CLI: which should build your Salesforce org? (with Vuk Stajić)
Salesforce now gives you two different AIs to change your org. One lives in your setup menu. The other runs in a terminal. Pick the wrong one and you either lose the speed, or you ship a change you can't even see.
Vuk Stajić, founder of Mavrik and creator of the Salesforce Solopreneur Blueprint, came in wanting Salesforce's native tool to win. So we shared both screens at once and gave the same prompt to both tools live: create a permission set and assign it. His in Setup with Agentforce, mine in the CLI.
Here's what you'll walk away with:
→ The naming trap: Setup with Agentforce (new) vs Agentforce Setup (old), and why it matters → Where Setup with Agentforce is strong (the draft-and-confirm step) and where it's still shaky → When the CLI is worth the steering it demands, and how tools like DX Zero prefill it → The four guardrails that apply no matter which tool you use → Why "the easier it is to build, the harder it is to build the right thing"
If you're an admin wondering whether the AI in your setup menu is ready for real work, or a developer wondering when the native tool catches up to your CLI, this is the honest side-by-side.
