Chevrolet Freaking Corvette! A Totally Serious Car History video...except not really. 3 Years and 400,000 subscribers later, I finally unveil to y'all, why my channel name is, "Bladed Angel". It's my childhood synonym for Fighter Jets, something which the Corvette greatly resembles.

My first 5,000 subscribers who knew me from my Nissan Sentra days likely already heard me say the phrase when I described the C6 Z06 as, "A Bladed Angel". That video has since been deleted, so it's unlikely any new subscriber has even the slightest clue why I'm named as such.
Yet it's finally time I share with all of you why it is.

The Corvette's fighter jet inspired design is why childhood me granted it this nickname. The blistering speed the Corvette achieves makes it seem like it wants to lift off the ground, hence, "It may yet still grow a set of wings"
The bold fighter jet design gives it, "Jagged Feathers"
The awe inspiring aero gives it, "Serrated Edges"
and it's ramp like stance that carves through the wind, "Cuts through the Skies"

"Like a Bladed Angel"

I've held onto that dream dearly, and didn't for a single second, ever forget it.

I've been wanting to make this video for a while now, heck, I wanted to make it back when I made the, "Freaking Cars" series...but I just couldn't find a way to make it good with my skill at the time.

Considering I now have owned a Corvette for over a year now, this has honestly been overdue, but I'm glad I finally got around to it.

You know how when a Book name drops it's title, stuff starts to get real? That same logic applies here. So I pressured myself to drop this video when I was ready for such a drastic transformation.

Bye-bye Watch Mojo Junkaholics. List Videos are dead to me now.
It's time to become the Channel I wanted to be from the start.
I kept trying to tell people I wasn't enjoying the content I was making, but talk is cheap. The more I complained, the more they rained on me. I realized in order to sway their faith, I needed to give them something to believe in.

If this series fails, I'll quit YouTube.
I already bought my Bladed Angel, so I'm not in dire need of money.
But dang...I am in need of healing my pride.

3 years is when most YouTube channels start to fall into obscurity, unless they do something drastic. This drastic change can lead to failure as easily as it could lead to victory. But to heck with it all! I'd be lying to you if I said that I didn't already consider that. But I'd also be lying if I didn't say...that I've also come to acceptance with whatever outcome. If this channel dies, I want to go down giving it my all, and not as some mediocre List Channel that escapes everyone's mind! I'll keep fighting to be remembered! To be heard! I still haven't told my full story...! So please...please keep listening.

I chose this word to describe our strange love for cars, but also because it best describes the kindred spirit of Zora that Juechter carries with him.
