Honda Grom TAKEGAWA S-TYPE CAM vs KOSO 240 CAM

I've talked to each manufacturer for the different camshafts that are available for the Honda Grom the only one that uses a different setting for the valve lash is the TB parts camshaft.
all other camshafts should be adjusted to stock valve lash.

INTAKE = 0.10 +- 0.02
EXHAUST = 0.17 +- 0.02

I Just wanted to put this video out there. There is not a whole lot of information on either one of these camshafts for the Honda Grom especially the TAKEGAWA S-TYPE camshaft. Both of these camshafts can be purchased for right around the same price. I have seen both of them vary in price range. Usually you can purchase either one for right around $120. I purchased the TAKEGAWA Cam from hardracing.com It came Along with the 181 takegawa big bore kit. Currently they have it on sale for $117 For just the Cam. I purchased the Koso Cam off of amazon.com for $106.

From my experience with both of these camshafts The takegawa camshaft makes a lot of torque. If you have a stock bike and you're looking to pull some willies this would be a great camshaft.

The Koso camshaft makes a lot of power more towards the middle range of your RPM range. You can REV out further With this Cam because of the longer duration. It makes more power on the big end.
