First Air Serbia Domestic Flight From Belgrade To Niš | Airbus A319 | YU-APM | Water Cannon Salute

Air Serbia has launched it's first domestic flight from Belgrade to Niš, marking the first domestic service in Serbia after 15 years. There were 18 passengers in total on this recently delivered Airbus A319, registered YU-APM - the youngest airplane in Air Serbia fleet.

The preflight airport procedures were a little different in comparison to the international flights. After checking-in passengers were to go straight to the gate A11 that is located in the public zone of the airport, instead of going to the immigration and then the transit area. From the gate, passengers boarded a bus that transported them to the parking position, then boarded the airplane via the airbridge stairs.

The total block time was approximately 45 minutes. There was no food or drink service during the flight. After landing we were greeted with the water cannon salute and parked at the apron. After all the passengers left we visited the flight deck and had a chat with the friendly crew. This service is convenient for the passengers who are having connecting flights between Niš and Istanbul, Frankfurt, Ljubljana or some other destinations in the network.
