PFI Round 2 Part 1 The Kart Championship 😤 Real Parents, Real Pressure, Real Karting

​Round 2 of the Kart Championship takes us to PFI Kart Circuit… one of the fastest and most competitive kart tracks in the UK.

After a difficult opening round at Warden Law, we arrived hoping for a fresh start as Zak continues his first full season in Juniors. But with over 60 drivers on the grid, nothing comes easy at this level.

Friday practice was all about learning, adapting, and finding pace against some of the best junior drivers in the country. Every session matters, every tenth counts, and the pressure is on from the moment you hit the track.

This weekend also meant something else personally.

This was actually my last time mechanic-ing for Zak.

It’s something we’ve done together for years… the early mornings, the late nights, the pressure, the highs, the lows.

And although the results don’t always go your way in karting… those moments in the awning, on the grid, and in the pits… they’re the memories that stay with you.

It’s the end of one chapter… and the start of another.

This series is all about showing the real side of karting. The highs, the lows, the costs, the pressure, the setbacks, and the moments that make it all worth it.

Real parents. Real experiences. Raw karting.
