How To Create GMB Listing *AND* Connect Two Street View Tours

Magic Box:
For every professional Street View tour there needs to be a Google My Business listing (GMB). If it doesn't exist it's very easy to create it. Also if you have two tours in a mall for example it is a good idea to connect them together and I explain how. In this example I'm using GoThru but you can also use Pano2VR (as explained in the end of the video).

1. Go to Google Maps and right click on the location where the business is located. Select "Add a missing place". There you should add as much detail as you can; address, phonenumber, opening hours ect. Once submitted Google will review the submission and if it deems it legitimate then you will get an email.
2. Even though the GMB listing has been created it will take a few hours for it to show up in the search. There is a trick tough and that is to use what is called a CID code. To find it copy the URL of the GMB listing into the CID Finder (www.cidfinder.com). Copy the CID code and paste it into the search box in GoThru.
3. Now you can start building the tour. If you are not familiar with building tour in GoThru I have a separate video about that called "GoThru Tutorial". The important thing here is to place the pano that connects to the other tour in the right place. You will be doing some guesswork here, but for the best result open the other tour in another tab and see where the pano you are connecting to is on the satellite map. Once you have the approximate location you can build the rest of the tour. Don't worry, you will be able to review your placement later on.
4. Before you can connect the two tours you need to publish both of them to Street View. In this example I've already published the bookshop so I only need to publish the coffee shop.
5. When it's successfully published GoThru will send you an email. The connections will take longer to appear, but we don't need to wait for that. Go to your tour and select "Edit". From there find the pano you want to connect. Press on the pano number in the upper right corner. Copy the Pano ID code at the top of the info-box. Now find the pano from the other tour you want to connect to and again you need to press the pano number in the upper right corner. Go to the buttom of the info-box and press on "Add Connection to Another Tour". Paste the Pano ID and press "Add". It doesn't matter which of the two panos you add the connection to, GoThru will automatically generate the connection both ways.
6. Now that the connection has been established you will be able to preview and fix it (if needed). Open the same tour again and select "Create navigation". The connection that you created is automatically locked. If you need to make changes to it then unlock it by right-clicking on the connection. If you make any changes then you need to republish the tour.
7. If you want you can go into Google Maps and review your tour. If the connections don't show up yet, don't worry, they might take a few hours or days to show up. If you go into "embed" you might be able to see them quicker.
8. Until now I've been showing you how to make connections between two tours in GoThru. But there is another application that does the same thing and that is Pano2VR. Simply create both tours in one project. Then highlight all the panos from one tour and choose the appropriate GMB listing. Then highlight all the other panos and choose the GMB listing for that tour.
9. When I first started doing this I started wanting to connect my tours to someone else's tour. The bad news is that you can only connect to a tour that you have created. You might be automatically connected to a blue line if you are close enough to the street, but you won't be able to do it manually. Not yet at least.
