Got your first DSLR (i.e. Nikon D3400) - now what?

After publishing camera reviews on the entry level Nikon D3400 and the Canon T6i, I received many questions regarding how to ... how to create background blur, how to stop motion, how to take night shots, how to compose images, how to make images POP:). All of these questions motivated me to create a series of how to DSLR videos for those new to the field.

There are many methods to achive awesome photos, so please understand as we move forward this one person's opinion. My goal is to help you better understand your camera and move away from the shallow end (green mode (aka fully auto)) to the deep end where adventure awaits (manual, aperture, and shutter modes)!:)

I am currently using the Nikon D3400 for demonstration, but most of what I convey will apply to any entry level DSLR (i.e. the Nikon D3300, Canon T5i, etc.). Please let me know if you have any questions or comments below, and I will do my best to help.
