2001 A Space Odyssey Theme on U-Bass

This is the song used at the beginning of 2001: A Space Odyssey, "Also Sprach Zarathustra," by Richard Strauss. It's been a fun challenge arranging it for U-Bass.

In some places I'm moving my pointer fingernail up and down through a string rapidly to get a tremolo-picking effect. I'm using this to imitate the timpani rolls that happen in the song.
