Benefits of watermelon during pregnancy
Watermelon contains a good amount of Vitamin A, which is very beneficial for the mother and the eyes of the child and it also increases immunity.
Vitamin C is also good in watermelon, which is very good for the growth of the child.
Lycopene remains in watermelon means antioxidant and the chances of increasing bp in pregnancy are low.
- Watermelon also contains a good amount of potassium and amino acids.
-Pregnancy is very important to maintain hydration, so watermelon should be consumed. This makes the skin better, less bruising, eyes are good, chances of the stretch mark are less. The lycopene available in it controls BP in pregnancy, reduces the chances of premature delivery as well as increases the immunity of the mother and reduces the complaints of constipation.

How to consume watermelon and what precautions to take?
-The watermelon has to be thoroughly washed first, soaked in water for half an hour, and then cut. The sliced ​​watermelon is not to be kept in outdoor temperature for much longer.
- Those who have diabetes in pregnancy do not have to eat watermelon in large amounts.
- Do not consume watermelon at night.
- Do not consume too much of watermelon at once because it increases the potassium level in our body and can cause discomfort.

Eating watermelon in pregnancy does not cause any harm but is very beneficial.
