🤖📺We explore being black in Denmark with Brice Johnson. Brice, also known as Professor Lock, is a notable American dancer & choreographer living in Copenhagen, Denmark and one of the 5 founders of The Hood Lockers an iconic hip hop and funk style group originating from the streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. In this episode Brice opens up on the challenges he had integrating into Danish society, how he overcame his insecurities and his advice on how to overcome challenges in both personal and professional life. He got vulnerable on this episode and was so transparent as to help others out there to show it's ok not to be perfect. Thank you Brice.

Being black in Denmark is a unique experience, since black people in denmark are a minority I thought it would be interesting to explore the black danish citizens residing in Copenhagen. Although I've visited Copenhagen several times my favorite experience has always been living in denmark. I know too well what it's like to be black in a majority homogenous society so I expected to experience the struggles of being black in denmark. My experience was to the contrary and I'm glad the struggles of being black in danmark didn't exist for me. I might become a danish black youtuber, once I learn the language. One of these days I'll interview someone about growing up black in denmark.
