I Recorded My Drums With a Garden Hose

Ryan from the @Creative Sound Lab channel stopped by the studio forever ago and gave me his garden hose reverb so I had to try it out. The hose mic technique is originally from Sylvia Massy, though I first saw it in Ryan's video. On top of that, I wanted to try out some other techniques of his to get the lowest of lofi drum sounds: the Radio Shack sound level meter "mic," and the sympathetic tom mic technique. All of which are an easy to thicken up your drum sound and add character to the mix. Check it out and let me know your favorite!
