Take Control :30 | Emergency Preparedness

Older adults consistently experience the greatest harm and number of deaths during disasters in the U.S., especially if they are living alone, are low-income, have a disability, or live in rural areas. The “Take Control" PSA from FEMA and the Ad Council encourages older adults to take three simple steps to prepare for an emergency: 1) assess needs, 2) make a plan, 3) engage support networks.
