Owasso Police Pursuit July 1, 2020

VIDEO: Listening to a police scanner every day for the last 20+ years, I envision in my mind, what is happening on their end of the radio. Thankfully, things like this are not an everyday occurrence in Owasso, but our officers are ready when they happen.

This video is from a pursuit we told you about on July 1 when Owasso Police became involved in a chase with a suspect, after a domestic strangulation call.

Officers quickly deployed stop sticks (with a split second to spare) as the chase went down the west service road near Rayola Park. The driver continued on to the highway southbound after hitting them, before deciding to exit at Pine.

This is when the suspect lost control and was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled. He was taken to the hospital for his injuries.
