LIDL PRODUCT REVIEW: Frozen Pork Egg Rolls (4 count)

LIDL PRODUCT REVIEW: Frozen Pork Egg Rolls (4 count)

For about $2.65 (as of 2/14/22) you get 4 decent size egg rolls. I generally use Minh’s Pork Egg Rolls as the measuring stick for frozen grocery store egg rolls. Lidl’s Pork Egg Rolls is a disappointment.

There is no hint of Chinese flavor in this product. The pork that they use does not taste fresh. It tastes like old microwaved pork meat.

I don’t mind ginger, but ginger is the most noticeable flavor in this egg roll. The shell is crispy but bland. It doesn’t have the Crispy Chinese Noodle taste, similar to the ones that they serve in Chinese restaurants for soups.

Also, the filling of the egg roll has a weird grayish brownish color. I do not recommend this product.
