Debating Rebuttals

Are you unsure how to create a good rebuttal in a school debate? In this tutorial on debating we teach how to rebut in a debate. The aim is to teach you what a rebuttal is, explain one method of structuring rebuttals and provide advice for rebuttals.

Rebuttals are an important part of debating and form a large basis of all speakers; but in particular the third speaker. Rebuttals need to not be surface level attacks, but clever rebuttals which link back in with your teams arguments. This video looks at an example of how to create effective rebuttals which link in with the team line/argument.
