Near Miss of Oversized Load on KLO Bridge - Turn on CC for description

This happened on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 in Kelowna. It was on KLO Road starting at the Hall Road intersection. I had just turned west onto KLO Road. Travelling down across bridge. I thought I had a clear path.

I did NOT see the Pilot Vehicle on the left. There are two lights that flashed twice but I did NOT notice them.

Pilot Vehicle should be displaying a flashing sign. If you look hard you can see a faint "D". Notice on the Rear Cam that the Warning Sign is much more visible from behind. Looks to me the lights were OFF on the Forward-facing sign or it was dirty.

The Oversized Load had no flashing lights and a very obscure "D" sign over the cab.

In Canada, the default sign is "D" because the sign needs to be read by both French and English speaking! This is why Bilingualism can be dangerous. The America OVERSIZED LOAD sign is MUCH MORE VISIBLE than the Canadian "D" sign!
