Exposed! Beautiful Thin Color Bar - Mintabie gemstone Opal

I was asked to expose the thin colorful area of a very large opal (3.2 oz). It took quite a while to do, but it worked! The owner of the stone did not want me to make a cabochon out of it. The good area will make a 100 ct+ cabochon.
